WENRAWENRA, Western European Nuclear Regulators Assosiation (http://www.wenra.org), is a non-governmental organisation comprised of the Heads and senior staff members of Nuclear Regulatory Authorities of European countries with nuclear power plants. The main objectives of WENRA is to develop a common approach to nuclear safety, to provide an independent capability to examine nuclear safety in applicant countries and to be a network of chief nuclear safety regulators in Europe exchanging experience and discussing significant safety issues. Today the most important topic on the agenda of WENRA is the harmonization of nuclear safety regulations. Action Plan of Finland as a result of the WENRA study:
